Fresh Light for a New Chapter: Office Lighting at Woelk Wilkens
After 20 successful years in Hannover’s Oststadt district, the renowned architectural firm Woelk Wilkens sought a fresh start. Their move to the ground floor of the historic Helmkehof now offers more space, light, and air. In the newly designed office spaces, the architects made full use of the clean material integration and minimalist design of apl AG’s innovative lighting solutions.
For the team of 20 architects and engineers, the LTwo MAG was mounted to floating acoustic ceiling panels using a 60° optic with rectangular louver shielding—delivering a glare-free, high-performance workplace lighting solution that meets all relevant standards.
In the two meeting rooms, LTwo Pendant luminaires with rectangular shielding and precise Batwing Wide (BWW) optics complete the high-end LED lighting concept. Controlled via Casambi wireless, the system allows users to create custom light scenes, adding to both visual comfort and the architectural ambiance of the space.
